Nameless Spirits I (Taibola)

This project was made for a Taibola 2014 festival's graphic contest and won the Grand Prix there. The Taibola festival is held annually in Russia, Arkhangelsk region in different parts of the White Sea's shore or nearby. More information about the festival: http://taibola.ru/

The project was meant as a table game of a "find the pair' type. The cards lie their back to the players and the players open any two of them by turns and then close again. The winner is the player who can remember where which picture is and finally collects more pairs than others.

The images where inspired by ancient petroglyphic paintings and also mythology and traditional arts of northern russian tribes.
